FAVORITE CHINOS & VICTORIA’S SECRET SALE

Ladies you really need to run to Victoria’s Secret…NOW.  I mean it, run!  Do not walk!  I stopped in the store Friday because i had a coupon and I knew they were having their semi-annual sale. I immediately noticed the huge 75% off display with tons of summer scents you can wear now.  There were lotions, body mists and even FULL SIZE perfumes…say what?!?!

Victoria’s Secret always has some of the best fragrances and I was shocked all of the summer scents were on clearance.  I grabbed two of the 1.7 oz Very Sexy Now Perfumes in the scents ‘Wild Palm’ & ‘Beach’ and I was planning to give one to my daughter and keep the other one for myself.  She picked the ‘Beach’ scent and I really liked that one best so the next day I went back and grabbed that one too in the bigger size.  I also grabbed another bottle of the ‘Wild Palm’ for her and a bombshell ‘Paris’ for her too and this ‘Bamboo Coast’ lotion for me which smells amazing.  It’s also only $3.99!  They also have this roller ball that has both the wild palm and beach scents that you can take in your bag when you’re on-the-go.

Out of everything I got from the Victoria’s Secret Sale, my favorite is the ‘Beach’ Perfume.  It’s literally summer in a bottle.  If you are a summer lover like I am….you will love this perfume.  It smells divine like suntan lotion mixed with the ocean and flowers.  I really can’t think of any other way to describe it other than AMAZING!  I think it is sold out online but in store availability varies.

As far as my outfit from yesterday, I’m usually in jeans in a tee on weekends.  If I’m going out or meeting with someone I love to dress up but when it’s just me with the kids I stick to jeans & tees.  Yesterday, however, I grabbed another favorite of mine which are these green chinos from LOFT.

I bought these last fall as well as a red pair and they are one of my favorite pairs of pants to wear because the fit absolutely perfect.  They are petite friendly which is a must when you are only 5’1″.  I’m wearing 00P but I’m not sure on current sizes they have.  I will say that I usually go for a mid-rise or high-rise pant and these are more of a low-rise but they are still fab!  My white tee is from Target and so are these cute slide sandals.

Yesterday unfortunately was not a great photo day.  It was just one of those days when mother nature did NOT want to cooperate.  The first outfit pictures we took were perfect as far as lighting but really out of focus and blurry.  The second set we shot were in focus and I had just set the ISO perfectly. However the sun came out of nowhere and caused some really harsh shadows and overexposure.  The sun just kept going in and out all afternoon and when I finally thought I would get a few good outfit pics it started raining!  AHHHHH…..that happens sometimes though.  Taking outfit pics can sometimes be a long tedious process and in the end you may have to shoot another day…and don’t forget to hit up the Victoria’s Secret Sale before you miss out!
