If you are from the South or have lived here for any amount of time you will know that camo is basically a neutral. In other words, you can rock camo in any season! I, for one, am a lover of all things camo and this cute camo cross-body bag from Positive Elements is no exception! You may remember I posted about this Leather Fringe Bag from the same brand last year. That bag is still a favorite which is why I was so excited to get this new camo cross-body.
In case you have never heard of Positive Elements, they use only ethically sourced genuine leather to create all of their handbags. Not only will you love the genuine leather smell of your bag but you can feel good knowing your purchase came from a good place. If you check our the Positive Elements website you can read their story here:
“Our shop is located Guanajuato, Mexico. We proudly handcraft all of Positive Elements Handbags & Accessories at a family run factory. Our incredibly talented artisans take a lot of pride in producing with a huge sense of happiness. Positive Elements was created to address the immediate needs of families living challenging circumstances. The vision was (and continues to be) to make the highest quality products in a family friendly environment that pays at least 5 times above the minimum wage. Opening jobs and helping good people locally & in Mexico will always be the true mission. We always pay 40% above the minimum wage & set the bar very high for how a factory should treat each employee.”
This camo cross-body has a fold over style with a top zipper. The bag has a super soft pebbled texture as well. Underneath the fold is also a magnetic closure for added security. If you prefer a clutch style bag you can also remove the shoulder strap. For those that prefer solid colors, it also comes in Pewter, Black, Navy, Gold & Blue. This bag does run around $175, but I think that’s a great deal for a genuine leather bag. I am also including a discount code at the bottom of the post as well!
OUTFIT DETAILS & SIZING:
For reference, I’m 5’1″ & under 100 lbs. I normally wear the following sizes: Shoes (6), Tops (XS), Jeans (24/00)
JEANS (SZ. 00): Express | BOOTS (SZ. 6): Goodnight Macaroon | LIPSTICK (CREME CUP): M.A.C. | SWEATER (XXS PETITE): Loft | CAMO CROSS-BODY BAG: Shop Positive Elements
The rest of my outfit is pretty much my everyday go-to look. My office is business casual all the time so I usually stick to jeans, boots and a sweater during the cold months. This sweater happens to be one of my favorite recent purchases from Loft. Some reviewers said that it was more like a t-shirt but I have to disagree. While it is thinner fabric, it’s definitely not t-shirt material. I actually love it and the puff sleeves give it a really cute modern flair. I’m wearing the XXS Petite and it fit perfectly. Unfortunately the petite size is sold out but there are a few left in the regular size HERE and it’s on sale plus an extra 50% off so it’s under $20! Nordstrom also has an almost identical sweater that comes in even more colors which I will link at the bottom of the post. My Jeans are my all time favorite high-waisted skinny jeans from Express and I am wearing 00 Short.
By the way, if you visit Positive Elements now you can also get 30% off and free shipping on all US/Mexico orders! Just use code PE18 at checkout to get the discount. Happy Shopping ladies!

I have been warming up more and more to camo, lately, Erika. Love your new bag so much and the leather sounds like a great one. Also, your uniform is my Winter uniform too, except I would have to add a warm coat and most times beanies, gloves and scarves. This is Michigan, after all.
I missed you on my blog so welcome by and join my weekly, Thursday Moda style linkup {http://eleganceandmommyhood.blogspot.com/2019/01/thursday-moda-152-winter-in-beanies.html}, and while you are there join the “Skirting the Rules” linkup too. Thanks and enjoy the weekend! =)
