Clamato ceviche cocktail is one of my favorite summer treats to make for my family! Generally my blog focuses around fashion & style but every so often I like to mix it up a bit and share something different. At home in our big Latin family we love to cook a lot and we always add a little Latin flavor to our dishes. Today we’ve partnered with Wal-Mart to bring you this simple lent-friendly recipe that is sure to be a hit in your household!
Clamato Ceviche Cocktail
This is a yummy summer recipe that is light and refreshing and can be served as an appetizer or main course. It features Clamato as the base and shrimp, lime, onion and cilantro!
Ingredients
- 2 cups 2 cups fresh medium or large shrimp cooked & deveined
- 1 cup Tomato chopped
- 1 cup Red Onion chopped
- 1 cup Celery chopped
- 1 cup Green Pepper chopped
- Juice from 2 Limes
- Juice from 2 Lemons
- Zest of 1 Lemon and 1 Lime
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Clamato Juice
Garnish
- 2 Avocados sliced
- 1 bunch Cilantro chopped
- Saltine Crackers

Clamato Ceviche Cocktail
– 2 cups fresh cooked shrimp or mixed seafood
– 1 cup chopped tomato
– 1 cup chopped green pepper
– 1 cup chopped red onion
– 1 cup chopped celery
– Juice from 2 limes
– Juice from 2 lemons
– Zest from 1 lemon & 1 lime
– Salt and pepper to taste
To make your ceviche add pre-measured ingredients one by one to your seafood mixture, then add your Clamato, mix well and refrigerate at least 1 hour ….but tastes even better the next day! Serve with saltines, fresh avocado and garnish with a little extra lime and cilantro! Buen Provecho! Enjoy!
