Do you blog full time?
Currently blogging is not my full time job. I actually work full-time for a major telecommunications company as a network engineer. I’ve been working for the same company since 2004. Blogging is something I do that I love but at some point I do hope it evolves into my full time job. I actually have a plan in place for that though.

When did you start blogging?
I started blogging in 2007 when i had my first child as blogging was just becoming a “thing” and I was your typical mom blogger. During those first years I had several domains but eventually blogging because more of a chore and not something I enjoyed so I took a few years off. Fast forward to 2016 my kids were a little bigger and I missed blogging a lot. I realized I wanted to come back but not as a mom blogger. I wanted to blog about something I loved…FASHION! It’s not that I didn’t love my children but I’m so much more than just a mom. I love clothing, shoes & accessories and I felt like my blog was my escape. In other words this was MY TIME to get away for just being mom…..a little piece of the internet just for me! -
What is your clothing size?
I post the sizes I purchase for each outfit at the bottom of any fashion related posts for your own reference. I’m only 5’1″ so I try to share petite-friendly styles. My weight fluctuates between 97lbs. and 106lbs. I’m usually XS in tops & dresses, 24 in Most Jeans and size 6 in Shoes.

What is your heritage?
I’m Spanish (Panama & Spain) and Scottish-Irish on my moms side and Belgian-French on my Dad’s side. I recently took a DNA test with MyHeritage and I was shocked at the percentages!

What do you shoot your content with?
This can be a complicated answer but I’ll make it as simple as possible. For video and vlogs I use the Canon G7X which is what most vloggers and youtubers use and I highly recommend this little point and shoot because it’s lightweight and compact and takes amazing high-def videos.
For outfit photos shoot with the Nikon D750 body which is a full frame camera meaning you will get more photo in the frame. When shooting outfit pics I switch back and forth between an 85 mm lens and 50 mm lens.
For indoor home/lifestyle shots I still use my Nikon D750 but I switch to my 35 mm lens. A 35 mm lens is great for indoor photos because you may not have a ton of space to back up so you will get more in your shot. If you are just starting out I would purchase a DSLR with only the body because the kit lens that comes with it is not that great. Then purchase one of the lenses I mentioned separately. The 50 mm 1.8 is a great lens that most bloggers use and very budget-friendly too!
