Friday Fab Finds – Forever 21

Yo….TGIF for real!  I mean seriously, was this not the slowest week ever?  I am NOT a “winter person” by any means.  However, it is one of my favorite times to shop online.  There’s nothing better than being cozied-up at home in your favorite pj’s and browsing all the new spring and summer items coming out!  Today is all about my recent Forever 21 finds, which all pants and leggings are 30% off today so don’t miss out.  I will admit I’m low key pissed that i didn’t get 30% off a few days ago …oh well.  By the way I’m going to try making “Friday Fab Finds” a weekly thing, so stay tuned.

Earlier this week I was shopping on Forever 21 and found some great petite-friendly styles.  They would work for anyone really but I’m always pumped when I can share petite-friendly finds with readers. I myself am only 5’1″ and I also have a short waist which usually means things like bodysuits are too long in the torso and pants end up dragging on the floor.  Not today though girls!

If you are a tiny person like me, Forever 21 has some great styles that come in XS sizes right now.  I did actually purchase each of these pieces and for the first time in a long time I pretty much kept everything except one pair of boots that needs to go back but I’ll get to that later.  Here is everything that I picked up.

Floral Palazzo Pants

I have been on the lookout for a pair of floral palazzo style pants for awhile now.  I just haven’t found the right ones until now! These sit high on the waist and are lined with the softest pair of shorts inside.  I may take them up an inch or so but I can’t say enough amazing things about these.  I’m pretty sure I will live in these all summer!

Paperbag Waist Pants

Paperbag waistlines are not going anywhere anytime soon so you might as well get on this trend.  I, for one, am OBSESSED!   I bought both of these pairs of pants and the green ones were love at first sight.  The belted khaki ones had to grown on me.  Either way I love them, and so will you.  Both also come in XS and both are BOGO FREE right now!

Button-Down Pinafore Jumpsuit

You will fall in love with this jumpsuit I promise! I have seen a few other ones just like this I snagged the size XS and it fit like a dream! I was a little bit skeptical because its high-waisted like in the picture and should come up right underneath your breast line.  That being said, I was pretty sure the straps were going to be too long because they are not adjustable.  However, I was over-the-moon when I tried this jumpsuit on because it was perfect.  I haven’t decided yet if I am going to have it hemmed at the bottom,I will probably have an inch or so taken up at the bottom only because I would like to be able to wear this with heels or flat sandals.  Right now it would be fine with heels but flats it would drag. Forever 21 you nailed this jumpsuit!  I linked this exact one below plus a few other similar ones.  If you are petite like me though, grab the XS because I’m pretty sure it will sell out quick

 Studded Block Heel Pumps

I saved the best for last.  Do yourself a favor and go to Forever 21 and get these studded pumps right now!  You can thank me later!  They are absolutely gorgeous in person and totally look like the popular Valentino Rockstuds.  They do have a block heel and it’s pretty high but trust me they are comfortable and I’m pretty sure I need every color.  I got them in a size 6 in the blush/nude color and the pictures don’t do them justice!  I cannot wait to wear these!

Returning

I did end up with one pair of boots that I am going to try returning which are these slouchy boots.   I ordered the white ones and they are gorgeous in person. However, they are better suited for someone that wears a size 7 or larger.   I wear a size 6 shoe and when it comes to heels, the higher they are the more uncomfortable they can be if there’s no platform.

A 4-inch heel on a size 6 foot will feel completely different than a 4-inch heel on a size 7 or 8 foot.  If there is a little bit of a platform on the front, the heel height won’t matter.  I even tried in-soles because I loved them so much but it didn’t help.  The problem is that they are final sale so I’m worried Forever 21 may not let me return them.  Wish my luck!

American Eagle and ASOS are also stores I love for petite finds but I’m always on the lookout for new stores that carry styles for us little people so if you know of any….holla atcha girl!  Oh, and I forgot …I got 2 bodysuits as well which I linked below.  The long-sleeve one I got in XS and the short sleeve one I got in a size S which still fit really well!
