Colorful in Cashmere

Navy, chartruese and aqua are definitely not the first color choices that come to mind when I think of fall fashion but somehow this cashmere sweater just works. It also feels good to share an outfit post again. It’s been awhile! After all, I started this blog because of my love of fashion..so I’m trying to get into the swing of things.
One thing that has changed though is the things I buy. Like many bloggers I never really paid attention in the past to where my clothes came from. Fast fashion was fine with me especially with the fashion industry having such a high turnover each season. That being said the older I get, the more I look for sustainable pieces to keep in my closet season after season.

Quality over Quantity
In the past I also thought the more items I had in my closet the better especially when it came to cheap fashion but at this stage in my life I would rather pay a bit more for a piece that is good quality and that I will keep for years to come. Cashmere does have a reputation for being pricey and I won’t lie…it is a bit pricey but the quality is amazing and I don’t mind spending more on something I will wear each year.
cashmere that is Trackable & sustainable
In addition to being amazing quality Gobi Cashmere is also a sustainable brand that creates nothing but ethically made pieces that you can feel good about wearing. You can see the entire supply chain, who made your item, who designed it and how many miles it’s traveled to reach your home! I absolutely love this idea and again I don’t mind paying a bit more for something that is exceptional quality as well as ethically made!
How I styled it...
If you love this sweater and look as much as I do this sweater is actually 50% off right now and in addition you can take 10% off your order with code ERICA10 at checkout! I don’t know about you but I’m definitely snagging a few more cashmere pieces for my fall and winter wadrobe!

Like the colour of your jumper, it stands out of standard black or grey colours of winter. Altogether a very nice outfit

Thank you so much Anna! I agree I love neutrals and never really wear to much navy but somehow this sweater just works!
I am starting to appreciate navy more and more, it’s a chique color isn’t it!
Hi Nancy! Yes I couldn’t agree more! I used to stick to Navy during winter but I think it works for any season like a neutral!
What a great shade of blue! Suits you very well…and you have gorgeous hair!

Thank you so much Carrie!
This is a fun look: I love how you chose unexpected things to pair with the sweater. I do not have any cashmere in my closet but I have been paying more attention to what I buy and add to my closet lately. Still making some mistakes but mostly am figuring out what I will wear and rewear.

Hi Mireille! Thank you so much! Yes I totally agree in trying to rewear things and shop more consciously. I still buy fast fashion and Im not perfect either but as long as we try little by little to be more aware thats all that matters 🙂
that’s a lovely knit and I like it with the colourful pants too! I agree it’s better to buy less, but I have some fast fashion pieces that have really gone the distance in my wardrobe! I guess we just have to commit to rewearing more and shopping less – no matter what kind of pieces we are buying 🙂
There’s a denim company here that tracks from the seeds that grow the cotton all the way through the process to it being designed and made into jeans, it’s really cool! The products are a splurge but they are locally made here in Australia so definitely worth it!
Thanks for joining the #WeekdayWearLinkup! Hope you have a good weekend ahead of you. Another busy but fun one here 🙂
Thank you Mica! Yes I am definitely trying to rewear stuff in my closet nowadays!
That color is gorgeous on you! I love navy for fall, it pairs so well with so many colors.
Thank you so much Lisa!
I’m with you on sustainability. And this is fabulous autumn outfit! The sweater is so pretty. Pinning.

Thank you Michelle! I have a feeling I will get a lot of use out of this sweater this year!
Great look! I love the bright colors on the cuffs and the neckline and it looks great with the white booties! I also buy items that are going to stand the test of time yo may have to pay a bit more for. Its worth it- quality over quantity. ( although my hubby would say I have both)
thanks for linking!

Hahahahah I’m pretty my husband would also say I have both too LOL
That sweater is beautiful! I love that you make the most of the pieces in your wardrobe even if the piece isn’t necessarily sustainable.
