Cozy Fall Style with a 70’s Vibe & a Big Announcement

Last week and this week turned out to be one of THE best weeks for me personally of 2020 but I’ll get into that in a minute. First, can we just talk about this outfit? I love cozy pieces. As someone who is always cold they are a must for colder months and this sweater is it. I recently got this cute fuzzy sweater from Lucy Paris and the chevron print gives it a fun vintage 70’s vibe. In my opinion, the 70’s had one of the best decades when it came to fashion. I swear I should’ve been born back them. The music, the culture and especially the clothes were it!
"Don't be into trends. Don't make fashion own you, but you decide what you are, what you want to express by the way you dress and the way to live."

I love Bellbottoms, so naturally I pared this cozy top with one of my favorite pairs of bell bottom jeans! I totally felt like a 70’s queen in this outfit! This entire outfit would make a great Thanksgiving look too! Cozy yet still comfy is the way to go! Speaking of Thanksgiving….can you believe it’s next week? If you still need something to wear for Thanksgiving I would definitely check out Lucy Paris. The boutique has quickly become a new favorite! They have a ton of unique pieces you wont find anywhere else…
More about lucy paris
Lucy Paris also carries petite-friendly sizes. Almost everything comes available in XS which is great for us petite girls! So many boutiques nowadays bulk purchase from the same wholesalers and most of them only carry S/M/L sizes so finding one that carries XS AND carries unique items is a win for sure!
fall 70's vibes with bellbottoms & platforms
My jeans are from Buckle and they are TTS. I got my regular size 24 and they fit great although I did have my seamstress take an inch off the bottom. The inseam was 34″ but even taking an inch of and wearing platforms they are still super long! My platforms are also brand new and even though you can’t see them they are amazing! They are by Sam Edelman and they are like a croc print platform loafer! I will try to style them with another outfit soon though so you can get a better look. They do run TTS as well and I typically wear size 6-6.5 so I ordered both sizes and ended up keeping the 6.5 in these.
A Big announcement
Now on to my big announcement. I’ve been working for a major telecommunications company for the last 16 years. I started with my company in 2004 and moved down to Atlanta in 2012 to work in Roaming Operations. I’ve spent the last 8 years working in roaming and I’m happy to announce that I have accepted a new position with our IREG team! My official job title is Professional Network Design Engineer, and I am over the moon! I’ll still be within the International Roaming Division of my company, just working for a different group. As much as I will miss my old team and my manager I am so excited and ready to dive into my new position on my new team! The workload is a lot but I know I am up for the challenge!

Congratulations on the job!!!! That’s an exciting way to end 2020 and to move into a new year. As for the outfit, I absolutely love your style. It totally gives off the 70s vibe but in a chic and original way. That copped sweater looks so cozy and warm and I think the purse actually just pulled everything together. Happy Thanksgiving.
