Wal-Mart Spring Fashion Finds

Wal-Mart is a nationwide company that we all know and love.  Some of my fondest childhood memories include trips to Wal-Mart.  Roaming the toy aisles with my mom was always a favorite childhood pastime and to this day I still shop at Wal-Mart at least twice a week! Now that they have groceries it’s a one-stop shop for everything.  Once of the things I also love about Wal-Mart is that they are ever changing and evolving especially when it comes to fashion & style.  I am so excited to be partnering with Wal-Mart for their “We Dress America” campaign.

This campaign is something very special to me because it promotes the idea of “Fashion for All”.  In the society we live in today there is so much hype around social media.  Along with that comes the comparison game that we tend to play between ourselves and the outside world.  No one should feel bad if they can’t afford to buy expensive designer items.  Fashion and style should be accessible to everyone, no matter where you come from, your financial situation, gender, race, age or background.  I truly believe in quality styles that are both fashion-forward and affordable.

Speaking of affordable, this maxi romper ya’ll!  It’s from the No boundaries brand and it’s under $17!  In a department store or boutique this would run anywhere from $50-$100, so I was shocked to see how affordable it was at Wal-Mart.   The print is also gorgeous and perfect for spring and summer.  It fits true-to-size which is a bonus for me being a petite girl.  Sometimes XS even runs a bit big and not many places carry XXS so I was over-the-moon that the size XS for this  maxi romper fit like a dream!  It also didn’t drag on the floor which was a win-win! Being that I’m only 5’1″ maxi dresses are always too long for me.  This one hit just above the floor for me so it was perfect!

For reference, I’m 5’1″ & under 100 lbs.  I normally wear the following sizes:  Shoes (6), Tops (XS), Jeans (24/00)

Let’s not forget about my shoes and accessories.  My bag is also from Wal-Mart and I’ve seen similar bags in boutiques and online department stores at a much higher price point. This one was under $35!  My hat also comes in a 3 pack that includes white, natural and black for only $14.99  Basically every hat you will need for summer in one pack!  I did see it in the store the other day as well being sold in singles for under $5 so if you want just one of the colors check your local store.

My sandals are also from the brand Time and Tru at Wal-Mart.  They run small so size up if you can. I’m normally a size 6 in shoes and if they had half sizes I definitely would have sized up.  You can see them better in the 5th picture above!  This outfit will definitely be a favorite this spring and summer!  I urge you to get out and explore your local Wal-Mart this season or even browse their website.  Support the “We Dress America” campaign and pick up some great budget-friendly pieces for the spring season!  Your wallet will thank  you and I promise girls, you will not be dissapointed.  If you are also looking for more great styles take a look around the blog for my latest outfit posts!
