I’ve never met a paper bag waist I didn’t like! For real though…..mainly because they cinch your waist and hide food babies. What’s not to love? These paper bag waist pants have a loose relaxed fit which pretty much flatters any body type. They do run big but the waist is elastic so they fit snug in that area. I got them in an XS and they actually come with a canvas belt but I switched it up for this Express belt instead!
I also just noticed that I looped the belt wrong. In the picture on the express site the belt threads behind the rings. I guess it really doesn’t matter though because its still cute!
How perfect is this new bucket bag I got too? I was in Nordstrom Returning something the other day when I spotted it on a display table. It was the only one out so naturally I snagged it before someone else got to it! What’s even better is that it’s under $50. When it comes to seasonal items I’m all for budget-friendly finds. It also goes with everything and I love that it has a long detachable strap so it can also be worn as a cross-body bag!

When your kid tells you that you look mean in every photo………so she starts telling you to make silly faces! Some of you know my kids usually take my pictures since my husband works so much. My son rushes through shooting but then again, he’s only 9. Most days he could care less how the photos look. My daughter on the other hand is 11 and has full on photographer thoughts. She’s funny because she gets in different positions and is constantly telling me how to move around which I think is hilarious!

On another note it was also 70 degrees here in the A yesterday. Say what? Could it be? Spring, is that you? All jokes aside I hate cold weather so I’m just thankful I was able to go outside without a huge coat and a scarf on. Plus it’s been raining a lot lately. I guess we all know that comes along with Spring…..but can the warmth at least stick around?
