Words with Friends [and DAUGHTERs]

First and foremost I am a mom and nowadays parenting can be hard.  With social media in our kids faces and so much technology it’s no secret getting their attention can be hard.  My pre-teen daughter loves to be on her phone rather than hanging out with mom so one of the ways we get to bond is playing different apps together and Words with Friends is one of our favorites!

Whether I’m at work on my lunch break or just hanging out at home on evenings and weekends Words with Friends 2 is a fun entertaining way for us to do something together.  In this game each player gets letter tiles and you place your tiles on the board to form words in order to score points.  Once your opponent builds a words it is up to you to build your next word off theirs. It’s a fun way to recharge your brain throughout the day.  I’m sure my fellow moms can relate because kids tend to want to forget all about learning during those summer months but playing Words with Friends really will get their brains going again.

If you don’t feel like playing along with Facebook friends or the kids, play the speed challenge.  In the speed challenge you play against the computer players.  I beat three in a row, although it did take me three tries to beat Wyatt!  Words with Friends is a free app that you can download for Apple devices HERE and Android devices HERE.  No matter the distance you can play Words with Friends 2 with your kids or family & friends across the country and around the world!  Don’t take my word for it.
