Hope all of you ladies are enjoying the weekend so far. How adorable is this casual summer kimono! Feel free to ignore the fact that I’m just casually taking my own blog pics with my trusty remote. Seriously it was 500 degrees outside and getting anyone to take pics for you in this heat is hard. But at least we got to come home and hang at the pool.
I wore this favorite kimono out in the morning but I did end up taking it off because it was just way too hot. I got it back in February from Francesca’s and I think this color is sold out but they do have it in another color HERE.
I’m totally diggin’ these adorable bow espadrille slides from Target. Aren’t they the cutest? They are so comfy too! They also come in red which would be super cute for the 4th of July. I got them in the Navy though because I think for my wardrobe I can pair them with more.
My shorts are a classic favorite I purchased from loft last year. I got them in a petite 24 and I link the exact ones for you below. They run tts and the quality is perfection. They stretch a little after wearing but not too much to make them baggy.

Hope you are all enjoying Father’s Day weekend. It’s always kind of bittersweet for us because both myself and my husband lost our fathers in 2004 and 2008 but we are celebrating anyway with my hubby because he is such a great Daddy to our kids! We are also celebrating with my nephews and my brother in law later today and having a little family get together. Enjoy whats left of the weekend ladies…..Back to the grind tomorrow!

That is such a chic, hot weather mom babe look. I have yet to find the perfect denim shorts. Love the kimono and earrings and those navy bow slides are currently on my Target cart, need to own them! Sorry about your dad. =(
