RECENT DESIGNER DUPE FINDS FOR SPRING

Guys I’m seriously so so sorry that I’m somewhat MIA right now but I still have no camera and I’m struggling not being able to take outfit pics but I’m pulling as many strings as possible to get a new camera that is within price reason right now so hopefully soon!

In the meantime I wanted to share with you some great recent designer dupes I found. Who doesn’t love a good dupe?!?!? Just to clarify a “dupe” is not a “knockoff”. The difference is that a knockoff will actually have a fake logo, labeling or pattern claiming to be the designer when it’s not. Dupes on the other hand are just inspired by the designer in most cases. With jewelry it can work a bit different but I will explain that in a minute.

Bamboo Ark Bag

First let’s talk about this bag. This bag was literally one of the most coveted bags of spring and summer last year and it’s still going strong this year. The designer version is by Cult Gaia and comes in three sizes: S, M, L. The large retails for $168. The designer price is not too bad to be honest so if you can swing it then go for the designer. However you can get this same bag via Red Dress Boutique for $86 (Large) or $69 (Small). RDB also has a square version of this adorable bag found HERE!!! I also found an even lower price version of this bag via Amazon and the manufacturer is selling it directly in both small and large sizes. The large size retails for $42.99 and the small is $38.99! Total steal.

The designer and dupe versions of this bag are exactly the same in size and material however the Cult Gaia Designer bag does have a magnetic closure and a small logo etched inside the handle whereas the dupes do not but since it’s on the inside who is even going to see that? You could totally get the duper version of this bag!

Floral Embellished Sneakers

Last year Tori Burch came out with a pair of espadrille sneakers almost identical to these and I was so obsessed however I didn’t splurge on them. I found a similar pair of Vince Camuto ones for $100 and got those instead. So technically $100 could be considered a splurge too LOL depending on your budget. But this year THESE came out and the brand is “See by Chloe”. The price tag is pretty hefty though at $330. Red Dress Boutique is offering a similar …nearly identical pair HERE that is on sale for only $10 and comes in 4 colors!!! Say what?!?! $10!!!!! You could buy every color!

Espadrille Wedges

This is actually one of my favorite dupe finds simply because it is SPOT ON!!! It seems like everywhere you look there are espadrille wedges. The most famous being by Chloe of course and Marc Fisher. However Stuart Weitzman has some really cute ones too but they run from $400-$500. Last year they had the “Sohojute” and the “Sohowedge“. Both wedges retailed for $455 and are now on sale at Nordstrom Rack. However they are still $136 & $182. Red Dress Boutique has THE BEST dupe pair HERE. They offer 4 of the same colors and the wedge height is exactly the same. The even have the same color band along the bottom just like the designer ones. The best part is that they are only $32!!!

Jewelry

I mentioned above that jewelry works a bit different when it comes to dupes. Most of the time retailers all get their jewelry from the same manufacturers overseas so you can find the same pieces at different price points. Unless you are looking at luxury pieces made with genuine gold or silver you can usually also find many jewelry items being sold direct by the overseas Manufacturer.
